​​​​Every iconic brand begins with a story.​​

 

Mine began years ago when my dad gave me a nearly two-foot-tall ceramic bear wearing a football helmet and clutching a football in its paw. I simply called him "Da Bear". That gift became one of my most treasured childhood possessions and sparked my lifelong love for Chicago sports!

For decades, Da Bear stood proudly on the dresser in my childhood bedroom. Every time I returned home as an adult and saw him sitting exactly where I'd left him, I was reminded of what sports have always meant to me—not just the games themselves, but the memories, traditions, and people we share them with.

Then one day after a game at Wrigley, I went home to visit my mom, saw that bear again, and the idea hit me:

What if there was a new way for fans to celebrate? What if there was something more memorable than the same flat foam finger people have been waving for nearly fifty years?  

​

That idea became DA CLAW.

​

So, I set out to create something worthy for the greatest fans in the world—Chicago fans. A premium, handcrafted fan celebration unlike anything before. Something fans would proudly wear on game day, display in their homes afterward, and reach for season after season as new memories were made with family and friends.

​

Today, DA CLAW is only the beginning.

​

My vision is to build the world's first Fan Celebration Company—creating products, experiences, and traditions that bring people together and help build lifelong memories around the teams they love. Neither of my parents is here now to see DA CLAW come to life, but I'd like to think they'd both be smiling knowing that one gift from my dad all those years ago inspired a dream that's now becoming reality.

Every time I pick up DA CLAW, I think about where it all began: with Da Bear.

My greatest hope is that DA CLAW becomes part of your Game Day celebration and your family's tradition, just as my ceramic bear became part of mine. And I hope DA CLAW earns a special place in your home and reminds you of the people, the laughter, and the moments that made you fall in love with being a fan of DA BEST TEAMS IN DA WHOLE WORLD.
