HOW WE STARTED
DA CLAW is inspired by a nearly 2-foot-tall ceramic bear clutching a football with one of its claws! My dad bought it for me on a trip to Sport Mart when I was a kid in the 80s. That’s when I was first christened into Chicago sports fandom, which, as any Chicago sports fan knows, is a special, fiercely loyal, and passionate “nation” that rallies together during epic wins and gut-wrenching heartaches.
That ceramic bear was given a special place of honor on the dresser in my untouched childhood bedroom, and I still have it today. So, when I saw it again as an adult — wearing a jersey and helmet and clutching a football — sheer joy radiated through me, and my idea for DA CLAW was ignited!
DA CLAW is a one-of-a-kind, three-dimensional, 9" x 8" x 9" soft foam flexible hand covering that speaks to the heart of DA SUPERFANS.
